Fatima Mohemedhen Louly: Founder & CEO of Define Beauty

Fatima Mohemedhen Louly grew up in Mauritania, a country located in North Africa, where she witnessed the harmful effects of rigid beauty standards. She saw how women felt pressured to undergo unhealthy diets to gain weight and use carcinogenic chemicals to lighten their skin. These experiences had a profound impact on her, shaping her understanding of beauty and the challenges women face in pursuit of societal expectations.

At the age of 17, Fatima moved to the USA in 2017, hoping that the beauty standards she had grown up with would not exist in America. To her surprise, while working as a makeup artist at Sephora, she encountered women every day who were also struggling with beauty standards, albeit in different ways. This opened her eyes to the universal nature of the problem.

It was then that Fatima made it her mission to create Define Beauty by F.M.A, a brand with the purpose of reminding every woman that they alone hold the power to define their own beauty. Her brand celebrates individuality, self-love, and the idea that beauty is not determined by external pressures but by personal confidence and authenticity.

Define Beauty by F.M.A is more than just cosmetics; it’s a movement that challenges outdated ideals and inspires women to embrace their uniqueness, empowering them to love and celebrate who they truly are.
